Product Description
The DR920 is designed and engineered with performance and reliability under extreme conditions in mind. Every aspect of the DR920 from materials to features is selected based on the idea that every pistol is a "duty pistol." Enhanced ergonomics and custom features such as the aggressive texture on the frame, the undercut trigger guard, extended beaver tail, recoil control ledge work together to increase control of the pistol and mitigate recoil. A Picatinny accessory rail lets you mount lights or lasers as well. Safety is built into the DR920 pistol. The DR920 uses a passive 3-safety system to prevent unintentional firing of the pistol. The articulated trigger safety prevents rearward movement of the trigger unless the trigger is pressed. The striker is blocked from forward movement by the striker block and trigger bar unless the trigger is pressed. Directional serrations on the front and rear of the slide provide excellent gripping surfaces when racking the slide, doing a chamber check, or clearing a malfunction. The slide is machined from 17-4 stainless steel which has superior corrosion resistance and durability. The 5" 1/2"x28 TPI threaded and fluted barrel is made from 416R stainless steel, the steel of choice for firearms accuracy. The Match Grade barrel has traditional rifling with a 1:10 twist ensure that you get the best results with a wide range of ammunition. The barrel and slide are protected from wear and corrosion with a durable black nitride finish. The tritium front sight and serrated rear sight are made of steel for exceptional durability. The familiar frame profile will fit most existing Glock 17 holsters. At Shadow Systems reliability has been the watchword since day one.
