The best budget AR by far
I originally picked the RF-15 up on special for $450 and it looks like it's gone up a bit in price now that the word is out that this is no budget rifle: this is a real, serious duty rifle that gets the job done without bells and whistles. Is it a little sloppy? yeah, a bit. Some dings on the finish here and there? Yeah, a few. Does it shoot straight, reliably, and clean easy? You bet! The rifle fires just fine, accuracy is on par with Daniel DeFascist rifles that are 3-4 times the price, and the handrail and accompanying furniture are already some of the best out there so no need to drop another hundo to make the gun "usable" -- full length picatinny and MLOK are standard, meaning this thing is ready to customize right out of the gate. After 1000 rounds, I have had 0 issues, 0 misfires (just make sure to oil the heck out of it before you shoot!), and it has taken everything I've thrown at it in both 5.56 and 2.23 Overall, might be the best starter rifle on the market right now. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to add an affordable AR-15 to their home defense or hobby collection.
